The Steam Packet Company are a dog friendly ferry service.

Both the Ben-my-Chree and SuperSeaCatII offer the facility for your dog to travel in your car on well ventilated car decks (Steam Packet do not charge for this service. Both vessels also allow for passengers to travel with Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs such as Hearing Dogs and Dogs for the Disabled (accompanied by an owner).

In addition to this, your dog may travel with you on board the Ben-my-Chree in the vessels designated side lounge for a small supplement of £5 per dog each single leg crossing. This applies for both foot passengers and also if you are taking your vehicle.

Steam Packet also offer 2 designated Dog Cabins on board the Ben-my-Chree, which cost £36 per cabin per single leg crossing for a daytime sailing and £59 for an overnight crossing.

Please note, with the exception of registered guide dogs, dogs are not permitted on the passenger decks of fast crafts (Liverpool, Belfast & Dublin Services).
